Equipment and Personal Property. All equipment and personal property procured with Agreement funds will be used for the purpose of this Agreement, and Contractor will adhere to procedures and recording requirements as required by County and 45 CFR Part 74 and Part 95.705. Contractor shall establish a control system to ensure adequate safeguards to prevent loss, damage, or theft to property, including equipment purchased with Agreement funds. If Contractor should no longer provide services under this Agreement, the equipment and property will be returned to County. All property including computer software, hardware, equipment, furniture, motorized items, and fixed assets purchased with County funds will be returned to County following the termination of this Agreement. These items, when purchased with County prior approval, shall be tagged with County inventory tags upon purchase. Thirty (30) days prior to the termination of this Agreement, all Contractor-owned property will be segregated from County-owned property. An inventory will be conducted by Contractor and the Merced County Human Services Agency for County-owned equipment, food/supplies, and technical data/documentation. Inventories of each of these three categories will be verified. Contractor agrees to comply with all rules, regulations, requirements, and directives of CDSS, which impose duties and limitations upon the Merced County Human Services Agency, which are equally applicable to and made binding upon Contractor, as though made with Contractor directly.
