Equipment Breakdown Limit Sample Clauses
The Equipment Breakdown Limit clause defines the maximum amount an insurer will pay for losses resulting from the breakdown of covered equipment. This limit applies specifically to damages caused by mechanical or electrical failure, such as a boiler explosion or a malfunctioning air conditioning unit, and is typically stated as a dollar amount in the policy. By setting a clear cap on coverage, this clause helps both the insurer and the insured understand the extent of financial protection available, thereby managing risk and preventing disputes over claim amounts.
