Common use of Equipment Notes Payable on Redemption Date Clause in Contracts

Equipment Notes Payable on Redemption Date. Notice of redemption or purchase having been given as aforesaid (and not deemed revoked as contemplated in the proviso to Section 6.03), the Equipment Notes shall, on the applicable Redemption Date, become due and payable at the Corporate Trust Department of the Indenture Trustee or at any office or agency maintained for such purposes pursuant to Section 2.03, and from and after such Redemption Date (unless there shall be a default in the deposit of the Redemption Price pursuant to Section 6.04) any Equipment Notes then outstanding shall cease to bear interest or be deemed to be outstanding for any other purpose. Upon surrender of any such Equipment Note for redemption or purchase in accordance with said notice such Equipment Note shall be paid at the Redemption Price. If any Equipment Note called for redemption or purchase shall not be so paid upon surrender thereof for redemption or purchase, the principal amount thereof shall, until paid, continue to bear interest from the applicable Redemption Date at the interest rate applicable to such Equipment Note.
