Equity Interests in Real Property. Most Mortgage Investments will provide for interest rates comparable to second mortgage rates prevailing in the geographical area where the security property is located. However, the General Partners reserve the right to make Mortgage Investments (up to a maximum of twenty-five percent (25%) of the Partnership's Mortgage Investment portfolio) bearing a reduced stated interest rate in return for an interest in the appreciation in value of the security property during the term of the Mortgage Investment (See "CONFLICTS OF INTEREST - Loan Brokerage Commissions").
