Common use of Erosion Prevention and Control Clause in Contracts

Erosion Prevention and Control. Contrac- tor’s Operations shall be conducted reasonably to min- imize soil erosion. Equipment shall not be operated when ground conditions are such that excessive dam- age will result. Contractor shall adjust the kinds and in- tensity of erosion control work done to ground and weather conditions and the need for controlling runoff. Erosion control work shall be kept current immediately preceding expected seasonal periods of precipitation or runoff.
