Errors in Advertisements Clause Samples
The "Errors in Advertisements" clause defines how mistakes or inaccuracies in promotional materials, such as pricing, product descriptions, or availability, are handled by the parties involved. Typically, this clause states that the advertiser is not bound by typographical or factual errors in advertisements and reserves the right to correct such errors without obligation to honor incorrect terms. Its core practical function is to protect the advertiser from being legally required to fulfill offers or terms that were published in error, thereby reducing the risk of unintended contractual obligations and ensuring clarity for both parties.
Errors in Advertisements. AASHE shall have no responsibility to correct artwork, proofread advertisements or verify any statements contained therein. In the event of any errors in an advertisement or in AASHE’s reproduction or publication thereof, the Advertiser shall notify AASHE immediately. Upon notification, errors will be corrected in the next available comparable placements of the advertisement, as determined by AASHE. This shall constitute the sole remedy for any errors, whether or not such errors are the fault of AASHE.
