Common use of Essential Terms and Modification of Agreement Clause in Contracts

Essential Terms and Modification of Agreement. It is understood and agreed that the terms and conditions described in this Agreement constitute the essential terms and conditions of the employment arrangement between Employer and Employee, all of which have been voluntarily agreed upon. Employer and Employee agree that there are no other essential terms or conditions of the employment relationship that are not described within this Agreement, and that any change in the essential terms and conditions of this Agreement will be written down in a supplemental agreement which shall be signed by both Employer and Employee before it is effective.
