Ethane Export Terminal. The Ethane Export Terminal is designed to deliver, process, and load refrigerated ethane meeting product specifications to ships. The terminal includes two identical 5,000 standard barrels per hour Ethane Export Trains along with utilities and supporting facilities. Each Train consists of dehydration and liquids fractionation equipment to provide upgrading and cooling of ethane pipeline liquid to specification refrigerated ethane product. The proposed project will have the capacity to load refined and fully refrigerated ethane at approximately 300,000 barrels per day on ships at the export terminal. The Ethane Export Terminal will have two docks, located on Neches River for supporting ship transfers. These docks have a total of 3 loading headers. ❖ Two trains for manufacturing and loading of ethane to ships. ❖ Each train consists of the following: ⮚ Removal of water, carbon dioxide and methane from ethane via dehydration beds, carbon dioxide treater and a fractionator. ⮚ A closed loop propylene refrigeration system with 1 compressor for chilling of ethane. ⮚ An open loop ethane refrigeration system with 1 compressor for additional cooling of ethane. ⮚ Ethane cryogenic storage tank and boil-off gas system. ⮚ Ship dock to support product loading and unloading.
