EVALUATION OF PROBATIONARY REGULAR AND TERM FACULTY MEMBERS. 16.1 The performance of probationary regular and term faculty members shall be evaluated in order to determine their suitability for continued/subsequent employment. 16.2 Evaluations of probationary regular and term faculty members shall be carried out according to the attached Appendix VII, (Guidelines for the Evaluation of Term and Probationary Regular Faculty Members). 16.3 Evaluation of faculty members during the probationary period of appointments as Instructional Associates, Department Heads, Assistant Department Heads or Coordinators shall be carried out according to the guidelines in Appendix VIII Guidelines for the Evaluation and Appraisal of Faculty Members with Responsibility Allowances established by the Joint Steering Committee. 16.4 The evaluation reports, in writing, and duly signed by the faculty member and the evaluator, shall be included in the official Personnel File of the faculty member concerned and shall be considered by the College President, appropriate Vice President or delegate in determining whether or not subsequent offers of appointment will be made.
