Common use of Events That Trigger Dissolution of the Partnership Clause in Contracts

Events That Trigger Dissolution of the Partnership. The following events shall trigger dissolution of the General Partnership, except as provided: (a) the death, permanent incapacity, bankruptcy, retirement, resignation or expulsion of a partner, except that within of the happening of any of these events, all remaining partners may vote to continue the legal existence of the General Partnership, in which case the Partnership shall not dissolve; (b) the expiration of the term of existence of the General Partnership if such term is specified in the Partnership Agreement; (c) the written agreement of all partners to dissolve the General Partnership; (d) entry of a decree of dissolution of the General Partnership under Kansas state law.
