Examinations to Determine Abuse or Neglect. a. Upon notification by the County Children and Youth Agency system, the PH-MCO must provide Members under evaluation as possible victims of child abuse or neglect and who present for physical examinations for determination of abuse or neglect, with such services. These services must be performed by trained examiners in a timely manner according to the Child Protective Services Law, 23 Pa. C.S. §§6301 et seq. and Department regulations. b.
