EXCEPTION FOR UNRELATED ACTIVITIES. The provisions of Section 6(a) notwithstanding, the Employee shall become free nine months after the Termination Date to employ, retain, cause to be employed or retained, or enter into a business relationship with any Related Person provided that neither the Employee nor any Related Person directly or indirectly engages in business activities competitive with the business activities of the Company in the course of such employment, retention, or business relationship.
