Exception Items. When we review and process your electronic file, we may reject any electronic image that we determine to be ineligible for the service ("Exception Item") including, without limitation, electronic images of items drawn on banks located outside the United States, items drawn on U.S. Banks in foreign currency, electronic images that are illegible (due to poor image quality or otherwise), electronic images of items previously processed, electronic images previously converted to substitute checks, and electronic images with unreadable MICR information. We will notify you of any Exception Items. You agree that if you wish to attempt to deposit any Exception Item to any of your accounts with Credit Union, you will only do so by depositing the original item on which the Exception Item is based. You acknowledge and agree that even if you do not initially identify an electronic image as an Exception Item, the substitute check created by the Credit Union there from may nevertheless be returned to Credit Union because, among other reasons, the electronic image is deemed illegible by a paying bank. Credit Union's failure to identify an Exception Item shall not preclude or limit your obligations to Credit Union.

Exception Items. Autobooks may, with notice to User in accordance with Autobooks’s standard operating procedures, charge the Account for any returns, chargebacks, compliance cases, or if otherwise instructed by a Card Brand (for example, for illegal or prohibited Card Transactions), or if Autobooks does not receive payment for the Card Transaction. User will cooperate with Autobooks in the defense of chargebacks, compliance cases, and similar actions, and will promptly respond to Autobooks’s requests for information and instructions relating to such cases. When Autobooks has determined it has all necessary information and instructions, User authorizes Autobooks to resolve chargebacks and respond to retrieval requests and other inquiries on behalf of User. Autobooks makes no representation or warranty that any chargeback will be resolved in User’s favor. User understands that it, not Autobooks, is solely responsible for resolving any Cardholder issues or disputes, and Autobooks will not engage in any collection efforts on User’s behalf.

When we review and process your ICL Files, we may, but are not obligated to, reject any file that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be ineligible for the ICL Service (each, an “Exception Item”) including, without limitation, electronic images of checks drawn on banks located outside the United States, checks drawn on United States banks in foreign currency, electronic images that are illegible (due to poor image quality or otherwise), electronic images of checks previously processed, electronic images previously converted to substitute checks, and electronic images with unreadable MICR information. We will notify you of all Exception Items and related adjustments in writing. You agree that if you wish to attempt to deposit any Exception Item to any of your accounts with us, you will only do so by depositing the original paper item on which the Exception Item is based. You acknowledge and agree that even if we do not initially identify an electronic image as an Exception Item, the substitute check created by us may nevertheless be returned to us because, among other reasons, the electronic image is deemed illegible by Paying Bank. Our failure to identify an Exception Item will not preclude or limit the obligation of you to us.
Exception Items. On each Business Day on which we review and process your item(s), we will use commercially reasonable efforts to identify items which, in our sole discretion, are ineligible for Mobile Deposit (each, an “Exception Item”). “Exception Item” includes, without limitation, an item that: (i) is illegible or contains MICR data that is not machine-readable, (ii) was previously processed for deposit, or (iii) is drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States. We will notify you of each Exception Item through a communication channel of our choosing. If you want to attempt to deposit any Exception Item to your Account after it has been determined ineligible for this Service, you may do so only by depositing the original check on which the Exception Item is based or as otherwise agreed between us.

When Credit Union reviews and processes Member's electronic file, Credit Union may reject any electronic image that Credit Union, in its sole discretion, determines to be ineligible for the service ("Exception Item") including, without limitation, electronic images of items drawn on banks located outside the United States, items drawn on U.S. Banks in foreign currency, electronic images that are illegible (due to poor image quality or otherwise), electronic images of items previously processed, electronic images previously converted to substitute checks, and electronic images with unreadable MICR information. Credit Union will notify Member of any Exception Items. Member agrees that if it wishes to attempt to deposit any Exception Item to any of Member's account with Credit Union, Member shall only do so by depositing the original item on which the Exception Item is based. Member acknowledges and agrees that even if Credit Union does not initially identify an electronic image as an Exception Item, the substitute check created by the Credit Union therefrom may nevertheless be returned to Credit Union because, among other reasons, the electronic image is deemed illegible by a paying bank. Credit Union's failure to identify an Exception Item shall not preclude or limit the obligation of Member to Credit Union.
Exception Items. Each Business Day we review Electronic Items to determine if any Electronic Item, that we in our sole discretion, determine to be ineligible for the Deposit Service (“Exception Item”).
1. is illegible or contains MICR data that is not machine readable;
2. was previously processed as an Electronic Item, or 3. is an Unallowable Paper Item as set forth above. Even if we do not initially identify an Electronic Item as an Exception Item when we review and process the Electronic Item, the Electronic Item may still be returned to us by the Paying Bank if the Paying Bank determines that such Electronic Item is illegible of missing an image. We will attempt to notify you of each Exception Item through any communication channels at our discretion.
Exception Items. Each Business Day by the designated time, Bank shall make reasonable efforts to report to Customer any Items that do not match the Check Issue File and, if requested and available, provide the front and back images of those Items for that day’s presentment; provided, however, no images shall be provided in the case of electronically converted Items. Customer agrees to review and make payment decisions on the Exception Items prior to Bank’s established Cut-off.
a) If Customer’s requested default setup is for Bank to pay all Exception Items, then Bank is authorized to finally pay any Exception Item unless Customer has instructed Bank to return the Exception Item prior to the established Cut-off.
b) If Customer’s requested default setup is for Bank to return all Exception Items, then Bank is authorized to return any Exception Item unless Customer instructs bank to pay an Exception Item prior to the established Cut-off.
c) Bank may rely on any instructions received from Customer that Bank reasonably believes to be genuine. Bank shall have no responsibility for any liability, loss or damage resulting from: (i) payment in accordance with this Section of any Paid No Issue Item that is altered or unsigned or which bears the forged or unauthorized signature of Customer; (ii) the return of any Paid No Issue Item to the depository bank in accordance with this Section; or (iii) Customer’s failure to meet Bank’s established Cut-offs. Customer may be required to place a stop Payment Order on any returned Paid No Issue Item, which shall be subject to Bank’s customary stop payment fee. Bank’s failure to report a discrepancy will not discharge Customer’s obligation with regard to any Item, and shall not obligate Bank to return any Item if it is otherwise properly payable.

The Credit Union may, in its sole and absolute discretion, reject any Check Image it determines to be ineligible for Remote Deposit (“Exception Item”), including, but not limited to, Check Images of items drawn on banks located outside the United States, items drawn on U.S. Banks in foreign currency, Check Images that are illegible, Check Images of Original Checks previously processed, Check Images previously converted to substitute checks, and Check Images with unreadable MICR information. You may be notified via email of Exception Items, but you also agree that you will review your Account to determine that items you have deposited through Remote Deposit have been credited to your Account before attempting to make use of such funds. You further agree that if you want to deposit any Exception Item to your Account, you will only do so by depositing the Original Check upon which the Exception Item is based. You acknowledge and agree that even if we did not initially identify Check Image as an Exception Item, the substitute check created by us may nevertheless be returned to us because the electronic image is deemed illegible by a paying bank, or for other reasons.
