Exceptions to Posting. A. Employees displaced, but not laid-off, as the result of a Reduction in Force or program reorganization shall be provided the opportunity to accept a vacant position only in their current or a lower job classification. Employees who accept a job for which additional training is necessary will be provided a reasonable opportunity to learn the new skills. Normal transfer procedures will not apply until displaced and laid-off employees are placed.
