Exceptions to the Four. Hour Minimum 1. Court appearances or on call status commencing four hours or less before the employee's regularly assigned shift begins: compensation will be for the actual time between the commencement of the court appearance or on call and the beginning of the employee's assigned shift with the same noon recess provisions as outlined in Paragraph A.2. above. 2. Court appearances commencing four hours or less during or after the employee's regularly assigned shift ends. Compensation will be for the actual time between the end of the employee's assigned shift and the termination of the court appearance with the same noon recess provisions as outlined in Paragraph A.2. above. Compensation for on call status shall not exceed four hours.
