Common use of Excluded Matters Clause in Contracts

Excluded Matters. A. Decisions by the employer on the following matters are excluded from the grievance and arbitration procedure: i. Educational policy, including program changes ii. Non-renewal or non-reappointment iii. Assignment, transfer or promotion iv. Discharge or discipline of a paraprofessional during his or her probationary period B. No arbitrator shall have any power to alter, add to or detract from the provisions of this Agreement.
