Exclusion for Death Benefit Sample Clauses
The Exclusion for Death Benefit clause defines specific circumstances under which a death benefit will not be paid out under an insurance policy. Typically, this clause lists events such as suicide within a certain period after policy inception, death resulting from criminal activity, or death occurring during participation in hazardous activities. By clearly outlining these exclusions, the clause protects the insurer from paying claims in situations deemed high-risk or outside the intended coverage, thereby managing risk and ensuring policyholders understand the limitations of their coverage.
