Exclusive Pharmacy Clause Samples

The Exclusive Pharmacy clause designates a specific pharmacy or group of pharmacies as the sole provider of certain prescription medications or pharmacy services under an agreement. In practice, this means that patients, plan members, or customers must obtain their covered medications exclusively from the named pharmacy, and prescriptions filled elsewhere may not be reimbursed or covered. This clause is commonly used in managed care or specialty drug arrangements to control costs, ensure consistent service quality, and streamline medication management by centralizing dispensing through a single provider.
