Exempt Waste. 32 Biohazardous or biomedical waste which may cause disease or reasonably be 33 suspected of harboring pathogenic organisms including human and animal parts, 34 contaminated bandages, pathological specimens, hypodermic needles, sharps, 35 contaminated clothing and surgical gloves from the operation of medical clinics, hospitals, 36 and other facilities that process this waste; Hazardous Waste; the accumulated solids, 1 Residues, and precipitates generated as a result of waste treatment or processing, 2 including wastewater treatment, water supply treatment, or operation of an air pollution 3 control facility, and mixed liquids and solids pumped from septic tanks, grease traps, 4 privies, or similar disposal appurtenances or any other such waste having similar 5 characteristics or effects (biosolid); stable matter; yard trimmings or lumber that is more 6 than five (5) feet in length in its longest dimension or more than two (2) feet in diameter, 7 automobiles, automobile parts, boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion 8 engines, lead-acid batteries, and those wastes under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory 9 Commission, but not including those materials defined as Large Items or Recyclable 10 Material.
