EXEMPTIONS FROM CERTAIN TAXES. The purchase of certain goods or services by the contracting entity is exempt from the payment of excise, transportation, use, and sales tax imposed by the federal, state and/or city governments. Such taxes must not be included in the bid prices. Any taxes that are not exempt must be included in the bid price. No additional payment or compensation will be made for taxes.
