Common use of Exercise and Payment of Awards Clause in Contracts

Exercise and Payment of Awards. An Award shall be deemed exercised or claimed when the Secretary of the Company or any other Company official or other person designated by the Committee for such purpose receives appropriate written notice from a Participant, in form acceptable to the Committee, together with payment of the applicable Option Price, Gxxxx Xxxxx or other purchase price, if any, and compliance with Article XVI, in accordance with the Plan and such Participant’s Award Agreement.
