Common use of Existing Arrangements Clause in Contracts

Existing Arrangements. 4.1 Nothing in this Agreement shall restrict either Party's right to continue to conduct its business activities or arrangements that existed on the Commencement Date or that otherwise come into being outside the scope of this Agreement. 4.2 However, as the Parties will be working together in relation to the Project where each Party may have access to information or Intellectual Property Rights of the other, each Party acknowledges that the other Party will need to protect such information and Intellectual Property Rights in accordance with clause 9 and clause 12.

However, as the Parties parties will be working together in relation to the Project where each Party party may have access to information or Intellectual Property Rights of the other, each Party party acknowledges that the other Party party will need to protect such information and Intellectual Property Rights in accordance with clause 9 14 (Intellectual Property Rights) and clause 1215 (Confidentiality).
