The partner should integrate this requirement into legally binding contracts and agreements. If the partner identifies child labour in its operations, the partner should not only remove the children from employment, but also ensure that adequate remedial measures are taken, such as enrolment in an appropriate education programme. Mere postponement of child labour should be prevented. The partner should work collectively, e.g. in industry associations, to promote children's rights and access to education and healthy development.
