Common use of EXPEDITING EXPENSE Clause in Contracts

EXPEDITING EXPENSE. This insurance is extended to cover the reasonable additional costs incurred by the Insured to make temporary repairs and to expedite the permanent repair or replacement of “insured equipment” or other “insured property” that has been directly damaged by “breakdown”, including overtime and the extra cost of express or other rapid means of transportation. Expediting expense does not include any costs incurred by the Insured for the temporary rental of equipment or temporary replacement of damaged equipment.
