Common use of Expenses and Prorations Clause in Contracts

Expenses and Prorations. Seller agrees to pay the costs of preparing the deed, certificates for non-foreign status and state residency and the applicable IRS Form 1099, and the recordation tax applicable to grantors. Except as otherwise agreed herein, all other expenses incurred by Purchaser in connection with the Contract and the transaction set forth therein, including, without limitation, title examination costs, insurance premiums, survey costs, recording costs, loan document preparation costs and fees of Purchaser's attorney, shall be borne by Purchaser. All taxes, assessments, interest, rent and mortgage insurance, if any, shall be prorated as of Settlement.
