Common use of Export Rules Clause in Contracts

Export Rules. The Export rules in force in the United States, if applicable, or any local export rules applicable in your jurisdiction will apply to the Software/Licensed Materials. You agree that the Licensed Materials will not be shipped, transferred or exported (directly or indirectly) into any country or used in any manner or for purposes prohibited by the above indicated rules (of the United States Export Administration act or any other export laws, restrictions or regulations or any local export rules applicable in your jurisdiction (collectively the “Export Laws”)). In addition, if the Software is identified as export controlled items under the Export Laws, You represent and warrant that You are not a citizen, or otherwise located within, an embargoed nation (including without limitation Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Serbia) and that You are not otherwise prohibited under the Export Laws from receiving the Software. All rights to Use the Software are granted on condition that such rights are forfeited if you fail to comply with the terms of this Agreement.
