Extended Testing & Training Clause Samples
The Extended Testing & Training clause establishes provisions for additional periods of testing and training beyond the standard scope of a contract. This clause typically allows the client or end users to access the system, product, or service for an extended timeframe to ensure proper functionality and user proficiency, often including extra support or resources from the provider. Its core practical function is to ensure that users are fully prepared and that the deliverables meet performance expectations, thereby reducing the risk of operational issues after final acceptance.
Extended Testing & Training. Extended assistance beyond that provided under Basic Services for the initial start-up, testing, adjusting and balancing of any equipment or system; extended training of City’s personnel in operation and maintenance of equipment and systems, and consultation during such training; and preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, other than those provided by the Contractor, sub-contractor, or equipment manufacturer.
