EXTENSION OF DELIVERY PERIOD. (Applicable for Goods) (a) If at any time during the currency of the contract, the contractor encounters conditions hindering timely delivery of the Goods and performance of incidental Works/ Services, he shall promptly inform MDL in writing about the same and its likely duration. He must make a request to MDL for an extension of the delivery schedule. On receiving the contractor’s communication, MDL shall examine the situation and, at its discretion, may agree to extend the delivery schedule, with or without liquidated damages and with and without denial clause by issuing an amendment to the contract. (b)
