Common use of Extension of Obligations and Negotiation of Claims Clause in Contracts

Extension of Obligations and Negotiation of Claims. Subject to the limitations contained in Section 4.3 and 4.4 hereof, to renew or extend the time of payment of any obligation, secured or unsecured, payable to or by any Trust, for as long a period or periods of time and on such terms as it shall determine; and to adjust, settle, compromise and arbitrate claims or demands in favor of or against any Trust, including claims for taxes, upon such terms as it deems advisable.
