Common use of Extension of Period Clause in Contracts

Extension of Period. If Employee violates this restrictive covenant and Employer brings legal action for injunctive or other relief, Employer shall not, as a result of the time involved in obtaining such relief, be deprived of the benefit of the full period of the restrictive covenant. Accordingly, the restrictive covenant shall be deemed to have the duration specified in subparagraph (A) hereof, computed from the date such relief is granted but reduced by the time expired between the date the period of restriction began to run and the date of the first violation of the covenant by Employee.
