Common use of Extension of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Extension of the Agreement. Should neither party to this agreement receive written notice requesting negotiations sixty (60) days prior to the expiration date of the agreement, the agreement will be considered to be renewed. The new agreement shall be in force and effect from the day following termination of the previous agreement and for one year thereafter.
