Extraneous Projects Sample Clauses
The 'Extraneous Projects' clause defines how projects or work that fall outside the original scope of an agreement are identified and managed. Typically, this clause clarifies that any additional tasks, services, or deliverables not expressly included in the main contract must be separately negotiated and agreed upon before work begins. For example, if a client requests new features or services not covered in the initial agreement, these would be considered extraneous projects and would require a new statement of work or amendment. The core function of this clause is to prevent scope creep and ensure that both parties have a clear understanding of what is included in the contract, thereby avoiding disputes over unanticipated work.
Extraneous Projects. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be deemed to authorize the Parties, by vote or otherwise, to act upon any matter or to authorize any expenditure unless the matter or expenditure relates to the conduct of operations authorized by the Unit Agreement or this Agreement.
