Extraordinary Work. City will not pay Contractor for extraordinary work unless Contractor receives prior written authorization from the Contract Administrator. Failure to do so will result in payment being withheld for services. If approved, Contractor will include an invoice that describes the work performed and the location where the work was performed, and a copy of the Contract Administrator’s written authorization.

Extraordinary Work. Authority will not pay Consultant for extraordinary work unless Consultant receives prior written authorization from the Agreement Administrator. Extraordinary Work. All extraordinary work involving the canine will be compensated at time and one half. The overtime will be for actual hours only and will not be considered callback under terms of this article. Extraordinary work includes, but is not limited to, scheduled and unanticipated veterinary care and training beyond the normally scheduled work week. Absent exigent circumstances, all such overtime must be authorized in advance by the on- duty Sergeant or Canine Supervisor. Off-duty call out will remain the same as what is in the CBA.

In the event County declines to undertake, build and install any Improvement requested by BVA LFG and a third party can carry out such Improvement at a cost substantially lower than proposed by County, then BVA LFG may engage such third party to carry out such Improvement and County shall cooperate with such third party in such undertaking, provided the right to install said improvements shall be exercised only with the consent of County, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.

Extraordinary Work. A. Should a condition arise from, or in connection with, the Contractor’s work on this Project which requires immediate and extraordinary actions to be taken to protect operations and facilities of SCRRA, or facilities of others within the right-of-way, the Contractor shall undertake such actions. If, in the judgment of SCRRA or the Public Agency, such actions are insufficient, SCRRA may require or provide such actions as deemed necessary. In any event, such actions shall be at the Contractor's expense and without cost to SCRRA. SCRRA or Public Agency shall have the right to order the Contractor to temporarily cease operations in the event of an emergency or if, in the opinion of SCRRA or Public Agency, the Contractor's operations may interfere or endanger train operations.
Extraordinary Work. All extraordinary work involving the canine will be compensated at time and one-half the EMPLOYEE’S regular rate of pay. Extraordinary work includes, but is not limited to, unanticipated trips for emergency veterinary care, special training not normally conducted on a daily or scheduled basis, and any work which causes a substantial increase in work time beyond what is compensated in item B above. Absent exigent circumstances, all such overtime must be authorized, in advance, by a supervisor or manager.
Extraordinary Work. Contractor will perform Extraordinary Work as required to maintain and/or restore railroad operations during and/or after accidents or natural disasters. Contractor may begin work without Authority Contracting Officer’s verbal approval when work is valued up to $50,000. Contractor may begin work with Authority Contracting Officer’s verbal approval for Extraordinary Work that exceeds $50,000 per incident. Authority shall estimate Contractor’s annual budgetary amount for Extraordinary Work. Contractor may initiate Extraordinary Work based upon observations made by Contractor’s employees or direction from Authority or Train Operations Contractor staff, but will report such actions to Authority staff as quickly as practicable.
