Common use of Federal Government Contract Provisions Clause in Contracts

Federal Government Contract Provisions. If the face of the Order identifies a prime contract with the United States, or if Seller otherwise is advised that the Order is in furtherance of a prime contract with the United States, or of a subcontract under such prime contract, the following provisions of the FAR/DFAR are hereby incorporated by reference and effective on the date of the Government contract. Except as specifically indicated to the contrary below, as used in the following provisions, the term "Contract" means an Order, the terms "contractor" or "offeror" mean Seller, and the terms "Government" and "Contracting Officer" mean Buyer.
