Federal Income Tax Elections. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this Section 8.04, all elections required or permitted to be made by the Partnership under the Code shall be made by the Managing General Partner in its sole discretion. Each Partner agrees to provide the Partnership with all information necessary to give effect to any election to be made by the Partnership. (b) The Partnership shall elect to currently deduct IDC as an expense for income tax purposes and shall require any partnership, joint venture, or other arrangement in which it is a party to make such an election.
