Federally Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate. We have previously negotiated or currently have an approved indirect cost rate with a Federal (cognizant) agency. A copy of our most recently approved rate agreement is attached; if necessary, we will provide a more current rate once it is approved. We request as a condition of this grant to charge a flat de minimis indirect cost rate of 10% of modified total direct costs (MTDC). To facilitate equitable distribution of indirect expenses to the cost objectives served, it may be necessary to establish a number of pools of indirect (F&A) costs. Indirect (F&A) cost pools should be distributed to benefitted cost objectives on bases that will produce an equitable result in consideration of relative benefits derived.
