Common use of Field Order Clause in Contracts

Field Order. A written instrument issued by the County to the Contractor, which clarifies or interprets the Contract Plans or Specifications or other Contract Documents, and/or orders minor variations in the Work, but which does not involve an adjustment in Contract Sum or Contract Time.
