Common use of Final Closing and Settlement Agent Clause in Contracts

Final Closing and Settlement Agent. a) Buyer(s) have a choice for title work and settlement services. However, closing shall occur at the offices of Xxxxxx Builders, Inc. Xxxxx(s) agrees to pay all of Contractor’s settlement charges, other than Contractor’s portion of transfer tax, tax pro-rations, and recording changes for filing of mortgage release. Xxxxx’s agent shall also provide to the Contractor a written list of all required paperwork necessary for settlement and provide to Xxxxxx Builders the time for settlement in writing 15 days prior to settlement. Xxxxx’s agent shall also provide to Contractor the HUD closing sheet 24 hours prior to closing.
