Final Scientific/Technical Report. For R&D type awards where a Final Scientific/Technical Report is required, recipients are required to create and submit a final technical report. This Reporting Requirement will be denoted with the Frequency “F – Final” on the Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist. The scientific/technical report is intended to increase the diffusion of knowledge gained by DOE-funded research, and all requirements shall be interpreted in that light.
