FINANCIAL AID. If the student obtains a loan to pay for an educational program, the student will have the responsibility to repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount of any refund. If the student is eligible for a loan guaranteed by the federal or state government and the student defaults on the loan, both of the following may occur: 1. The federal or state government or a loan guarantee agency may take action against the student, including applying any income tax refund to which the person is entitled to reduce the balance owed on the loan. 2. The student may not be eligible for any other federal student financial aid at another institution or other government assistance until the loan is repaid.

FINANCIAL AID. I understand that aid described as “estimated” or “authorized” on my Financial Aid Award does not represent actual or guaranteed payment, but is an estimate of the aid I may receive if I meet all requirements stipulated by that aid program. I understand that my Financial Aid Award is contingent upon my continued enrollment and attendance in each class upon which my financial aid eligibility was calculated. If I drop any class before completion, I understand that my financial aid eligibility may decrease and some or all of my financial aid is reduced because I dropped or failed to attend class, I agree to repay all reduced aid that was disbursed to my account and resulted in a credit balance that was refunded to me. I understand that any financial aid I receive will be used to pay any and all charges assessed to my account at San Jacinto College such as tuition, bookstore charges, or any other institutional charges, in accordance with the terms of the aid. I understand that any outside resources such as scholarships, stipends, service awards, contract payments (including Texas prepaid tuition plans or other IRS 529 plan payments), exemptions or any other payment received from an outside agency may affect my financial aid award. I am responsible for notifying the San Jacinto College Financial Aid Office if I receive funds before or after receiving financial aid so that adjustments can be made to eliminate possible over awards. Any fund disbursed to my student account causing an over award, must be repaid and returned to the aid source. If some or all of my financial aid is reduced because I dropped or failed to attend class, I agree to repay all reduced aid that was disbursed to my account and resulted in a credit balance that was refunded to me. Texas Education Opportunity Grant (TEOG), Military Tuition Assistance (MTA), or Top 10 Percent; or institutional aid includes Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG). I understand that administrative, clerical or technical billing errors do not absolve me of my financial responsibility to pay the correct amount of tuition and other associated financial obligations assessed as a result of my registration at San Jacinto College.
FINANCIAL AID. A student accepted into SUNY Canton under this agreement is eligible to participate in all financial aid, grants, and scholarship programs customarily open to transfer students.
FINANCIAL AID. Students who attend institutions that do not have ROTC are eligible to apply for the ROTC two-year scholarships before attending LTC. The scholarship will pay Fall & Spring Semester tuition, selected fees, and a book allowance. All students enrolled in the ROTC Advance Course and all scholarship students receive a monthly subsistence allowance during the school year. Students are also paid for the period of their attendance at the Leader’s Training Course (LTC) and the Leader Development Assessment Course (LDAC).

I further understand that my receipt of a prize, award, scholarship or grant is considered a financial resource under federal Title IV financial aid regulations, and may therefore reduce my eligibility for other federal and/or state financial aid (i.e., loans, grants, Federal Work Study) which, if already disbursed to my student account, may have to be reversed and returned to the aid source. I understand that amounts I will owe for the repayment of my student loans may not be dischargeable in bankruptcy.

FINANCIAL AID. Financial Aid may be applied directly to housing fees if Licensee accepts enough Financial Aid to first cover all registration and tuition charges. i. Financial Aid can only be applied to charges in the quarter for which that aid is disbursed. Financial Aid for winter quarter cannot be applied to charges for fall quarter or vice versa. ii. Qualified Financial Aid can include certain types of student loans, grants and/or many scholarships but does not include Federal Work-Study. Please refer to the Financial Aid calculator on the Student Accounts webpage. iii. Once Disbursable Qualified Financial Aid is exhausted, the Licensee will be responsible for any and all payments due by the due date(s) for that quarter’s charges which may also be subject to Late Fees. iv. If payment by Financial Aid eligible, the Licensee will see a “Deferred by Financial Aid” indicator next to the Housing Balance on their Money Matters Tab. If “Deferred by Financial Aid” is not notated on the Money Matters Tab next to the Housing Balance, the Licensee is responsible for making a payment on September 1. A registration hold will be placed for any past due fee amounts that are not eligible for financial aid deferral.

Students eligible for CalWORKs/WIOA, JTPA, GAIN or State and Private Vocational Rehabilitation should have their counselors call the School directly. The Student understands that if a separate party is financing his/her education, which the Funder, and the Funder alone, is directly responsible for all payments and monies owed to the school listed on this agreement.
FINANCIAL AID. If you have financial aid, the total amount of AUTHORIZED AID must be deducted from the total fees to be included in the Installment Payment plan.
