Financial resources and costs Sample Clauses

Financial resources and costs. One of the main barriers to the adoption of new technology by Communities of Practice (CoPs) dominated by public institutions (e.g. higher and further education institutions) is related to the lack of human and financial resources. New investments follow a rigid structure within public institutions and various proofs and approvals are required before reaching a final agreement. The lack of funds for adopting new technologies and tools makes them unaffordable. On the other hand, if tools have been developed within a private research project, it usually asks to contribute to the investment by some kind of fee.
