FIREFIGHTING DIVISION ‐ ELIGIBILITY AND AMOUNT. 1. For the purpose of computing eligibility and amount, the eligibility date shall be the employee’s employment anniversary date. Employees in the Firefighting Division hired before November 1, 2014 shall receive the following vacation hours: 6 mos ‐ 3 yrs 145 hrs 3 yrs ‐ 7 yrs 226 hrs 7 yrs ‐ 10 yrs 266 hrs 10 yrs ‐ 20 yrs 330 hrs 20 yrs ‐ + 330hrs 2. Employees in the Firefighting Division hired on or after November 1, 2014 shall receive the following vacation hours: 6 mos ‐ 3 yrs 120 hrs 3 yrs ‐ 7 yrs 168 hrs 7 yrs ‐ 10 yrs 240 hrs 10 yrs ‐ 20 yrs 264 hrs 20 yrs ‐ + 288 hrs 3. Employees must obtain one full year’s seniority prior to using any vacation time. For the purpose of computing vacation eligibility and amount, vacation hours shall be earned for the preceding full vacation scheduling year of January 1 through December 31, inclusive.
