FISHERIES LIAISON SERVICES. The Authority will appoint an overall Fisheries Liaison Services contractor responsible for responsible for liaising and engaging with local fishing industry interests. If required, the Contractor should make provision to accommodate a Fisheries Liaison Officer on board the vessel if one is assigned. All FLS costs will be borne by the Authority. 1. Using the agreed rates outlined in the Rates table below, the Authority will pay to the Contractor the following sums (the Price), exclusive of VAT for the Project; 2. The Price will include the following elements; a. Mobilisation & demobilisation costs (agreed lump sums) b. Operational survey costs (agreed all-inclusive day rates) c. Agreed one-off costs for consumables, data processing and analysis, and reporting. Please note processing costs will be pro-rated based on data collected should data coverage be less than 75%. d. Weather standby, as agreed with the Authority (agreed day rates). 3. When calculating the Price; a) The Survey is deemed to have commenced when operational at the survey site. b) Mobilisation includes transit to Port, vessel calibration, sailing to survey site. c) Demobilisation commences when the vessel leaves the Survey site on completion of the Survey OR on March 31st if the survey is incomplete. d) Day rates will be pro-rated based on a 24hr day to the nearest 0.25 of an hour. 4. Payments will be made as outlined in the Invoicing Table below using the agreed rates outlined in the Rates table. The Purchase Order Number, issued by the Authority, must be quoted on invoices. 1 Mobilisation (including transit to site) LESS 10% retention 2 All survey activity, to include weather allowance and demob costs, LESS 10% retention 3 Submission of survey report and data including metadata LESS 10% retention
