Common use of Fixed Rate Certificated Note Clause in Contracts

Fixed Rate Certificated Note. Interest on Fixed Rate Certificated Notes (including interest for partial periods) will be calculated on the basis of a 360-day year of twelve 30-day months. Floating Rate Certificated Notes. Interest rates on Floating Rate Certificated Notes will be determined as set forth in the form of Notes. Interest on Floating Rate Certificated Notes, except as otherwise set forth therein, will be calculated on the basis of actual days elapsed and a year of 360 days, except that in the case of a Floating Rate Certificated Note for which the Base Rate is the Treasury Rate, interest will be calculated on the basis of the actual number of days in the year.
