Common use of Fixed Rate Certificated Notes Clause in Contracts

Fixed Rate Certificated Notes. Unless otherwise specified pursuant to Settlement Procedure "A" below, interest payments on Fixed Rate Certificated Notes will be made semi-annually on April 1 and October 1 of each year and at Maturity; provided, however, that in the case of a Fixed Rate Certificated Note issued between a Regular Record Date and an Interest Payment Date, the first interest payment will be made on the Interest Payment Date following the next succeeding Regular Record Date to the Person in whose name such Note is registered on the Regular Record Date for such succeeding Interest Payment Date.
