Common use of Fixed Rate Certificated Notes Clause in Contracts

Fixed Rate Certificated Notes. Unless otherwise specified pursuant to "Settlement Procedures" below, interest payments on Fixed Rate Certificated Notes will be made semi-annually on [January 1 and July 1] and on the Maturity Date or the Redemption Date; provided, however, that in the case of a Fixed Rate Certificated Note issued between a Regular Record Date and an Interest Payment Date, the first interest payment will be made on the Interest Payment Date following the next succeeding Regular Record Date.
