Structures fixed to the seafloor either via a foundation or via anchor(s), piles, guys, towers, or other methods, including but not limited to piers, as well as platforms and monopoles, such as those used for ocean energy development. Contrast to systems that are anchored, but float, such as a buoy or a net pen.
