Common use of Flood Hazard Clause in Contracts

Flood Hazard. If any portion of any Mortgaged Property is at any time located in an area identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (or any successor agency) as a special flood hazard area with respect to which flood insurance has been made available under the Flood Insurance Laws, then the Lead Borrower shall, or shall cause the applicable Obligors to (i) maintain, or cause to be maintained, with a financially sound and reputable insurer, flood insurance in an amount and otherwise sufficient to comply with all applicable rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to the Flood Insurance Laws, which such insurance shall (a) identify the addresses of each property located in a special flood hazard area, (b) indicate the applicable flood zone designation, the flood insurance coverage and deductible relating thereto, (c) provide that the insurer will give the Agent 45 days’ written notice of cancellation or non-renewal, and (d) shall otherwise be in form and substance satisfactory to the Agent, and (ii) deliver to the Agent evidence of such compliance in form and substance reasonably acceptable to the Agent, including, without limitation, evidence of annual renewals of such insurance.
