Common use of FLU PREVENTION Clause in Contracts

FLU PREVENTION. The Coalition and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Permanente are committed to the highest standards of patient safety and employee health. Accordingly, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Permanente and the Coalition agree that effective October 1, 2015, all health care workers will be required to have received a seasonal influenza vaccination or, if they decline for any reason, to wear a surgical mask for the duration of the influenza season while working in patient care areas. Prior to October 1, 2015, the Coalition and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Permanente will develop guidelines and policies for flu vaccination.
