Foam proportioning system. The vehicle will have a foam proportioning system for Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) (whether 3- or 6-percent foam concentrate) in accordance with NFPA 414. If a fixed orifice plate system is used, a plate will be provided for each percentage foam concentrate; the additional plate will be securely mounted in a protected location on the vehicle. A fire vehicle mechanic will be able to interchange the plates using common hand tools.
