For WDM applications. U S WEST shall provide to Pac-West an interface to an existing WDM device or allow Pac-West to install its own WDM device (where sufficient system loss margins exist or where Pac-West provides the necessary loss compensation) to multiplex the traffic at different wavelengths. This applies to both the transmit and receive ends of the Dark Fiber.
